Rainy Days

I have been trying to get some shots of Ellie before we move. Even though we are THRILLED for our new adventure, there is the sentimental part of me that is a little sad.

This was our first home and we have so many great memories here. I remember that we closed on this house on Halloween and rushed over to check it out. While we were moving our stuff over from our apartment, we still managed to buy some candy and hand it out to all the trick or treaters.

I also have fond memories of strolling the streets during the last month of my pregnancy TRYING to go into labor. WELL, that didn't work because I ended up being induced but I did loose five pounds trying to get Ellie to join the world.

AND- Ellie was brought home from the hospital and has grown up in this home for the last nineteen months.

SOOOOO- here are some last minute photos of Ellie enjoying the summer rain. I love her chunky thighs and belly. Just seeing them make me smile.

Thank you for all the Best Wishes from family, friends and clients.

We feel so fortunate and cannot wait to make our next stop HOME.

Family Sessions

I LOVE doing family sessions. It is SOOOOO much easier to have BOTH parents available to get their kiddos to sit still and make them laugh. This Mom and Dad were very patient and their two little girls, who were so beautiful and cooperative.

I couldn't believe how good these girls were doing BUT I might have spoke too soon because little sister started having a meltdown. She recovered just in time to get some beautiful close ups and some sisterly love shots.

5 Month Old Honey

A fun session with this sweet 5 month old, who couldn't decide whether she was happy or sad.

OF COURSE, I had to get a crying photo and everytime I look at it I laugh. Look at that SAD face.

BUT then 10 minutes later she was all smiles and the tears were all gone.

I love seeing my clients grow and change and Jacqueline looks like a big girl now. I loved capuring those beautiful eyes again.

Happy Face

Another HOT, family session and this crew was a gorgeous trio together. I felt so bad for Mom and Dad, the heat was DEFINITELY getting to them.

Collin was sooooo happy and he was so easy to capture. Mom and Dad were up for anything and even spent some time walking through the stream for some cute family shots.

Sassy Pants

Toddlers are hard to shoot.... there is NO question about that. What happens when your toddler just does not want to have his picture taken? You improvise.

Gidian was a sassy little tot during his photo session, but his personality cracked me up and I loved his attitude. Mom and dad were all prepared and we thought of different ways to capture him without taking away from his playtime.

We took advantage of his train obsession, we played Ring Around the Rosie, and then we got out the waterhose. I LOVED his photo session. Mom and Dad were so much fun to work with and how could you not smile at this adorable little face.
