Getting Blown Away!!!!

My orginial session with this family was CANCELED because I was so sick!!!! I felt so horrible to reschedule but there was no way I could have taken pictures in my condition.

The Omholts were so wonderful about it. We moved the session to another day and then during our session, Plano was hit with incredible wind gusts and a drop in temperature. I felt so bad about rescheduling and then having wind blowing out of control during their session.

The good news was that after walking around we found a great spot that was blocked by the wind and I got some shots of the family without their hair blowing all over the place. The Omholts were really great sports about the whole ordeal and I just wanted to thank them and I hope they enjoy their photos.

Cousins

I have been SO BUSY with my holiday sessions that I have been neglecting my blog. I thought I would take the next few days to catch up on some of my recent sessions over the last month.

My session with these adorable cousins was a Christmas present for the grandparents. Unfortunately, little Carson was not feeling well and it was difficult to get shots of the three kids together. Poor Carson. He is usually all smiles, but during his session he did not want to have his photo taken at all.

So, we concentrated on some individual shots. Georgia and Hogan were ready for their session and I love the shots of them together and Hogan was acting goofy for the camera.

At the end of our session we tried to take some more of Carson again and he was just the saddest little cowboy I have ever seen. I still love the shots of him crying over his milk.

TWINS!!!

I LOVED my session with these boys!!!! Since they are all grown up we decided to hit the streets for an urban session. It also gave me time to catch up with their mom Kim, who I used to work with.

Michael and Blake were so much fun and enthusiastic models during their session. When things started to get a little rocky, I told them that I had a sweet surprise for them. That perked the boys up and I got 30 minutes of great shots by bribing the boys with the promise of cupcakes.

Nate is BACK

It was so much fun to meet Nate again and see how much he has grown!!!! This time we had a family session and got some shots with his mom and dad. The session was in honor of Nate's first birthday. It is amazing how fast time flies. It seems like yesterday that his mom and I had big huge pregnant bellies and were walking around work together.

Now Nate is a big boy and he is a reallsweetie. He loved watching his mom dance around and sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. I enjoyed seeing that too, it was very entertaining!!!!

THE PLAYGROUND!!!!

Jonah's session started out fabulous!!! He was smiling, happy and playing with his bubbles; but then the bubbles spilled on the ground. So Jonah's next obsession became THE PLAYGROUND!!! Poor thing. All he wanted to do was play on the slides and his mom Monda and I were ruining it for him.

SO- the happy little boy became a VERY unhappy little toddler. As Jonah sat there crying, I thought to myself, what should I do???? Well- as a photographer there is only one thing to do- capture Jonah's little tantrum.

I couldn't help it, I know I am so mean but it was so cute and funny!!!

I love the black and white photo below which shows little Jonah walking off to the amazing playground with the light shining on it as if to say - AHHHHHHHHH.

The Holiday Sessions Are On A Roll

What a fun, adorable family to shoot for a holiday session. The W family came all prepared decked in the cutest clothes, twin boys and a 9 month old.

They were all so sweet and well behaved, which made this holiday session run so smooth!!! I enjoyed capturing the twins' funny faces and Savanah's gorgeous blue eyes. What a beautiful family!!!!
