My Susan G. Komen Raffle Session

This session was near and dear to me. It was the free holiday session that I donated to a Susan G. Komen event. Since I had a co-worker whose life was affected by breast cancer, I could not turn this cause down.

I was so happy to meet the Baldwins through this session at the Arboretum for another HOT day. My heart went out to them because I was SWEATING in my shorts and top, but they were wearing jeans and long-sleeved shirts. Their little boys were such good sports about the whole thing and we got some great family shots for holiday cards and then afterwards we let loose to play with the bubbles.

Two Little Princesses

Ashlyn and Layla were just two little, adorable princesses. They were so girly and way too cute during our session at a local park.

They were having too much fun exploring, so we decided to plop them down on this big stump to make them stay still. Our plan worked, we got the girls to stay put long enough to get capture their beautiful faces.

Grrrrrrrrrr- Is it Ryan or a Lion?

Poor little Ryan. He just wasn't in the mood to have his photo taken, and I understand. All he wanted to do was play and here I was with a camera in his face.

After awhile his Dad (Bryce) jumped in to help. SO- I was able to witness a grown man on the floor doing lion immitations. As I died laughing, Ryan's mom Shannon commented, "I cannot believe you are doing that in front of a stranger." HA HA. I thought it was hilarious because it sure made Ryan laugh and smile.

The things parents do to make their child happy.

So Ryan was my little lion boy. He made grrrrrrr noises and acted liked a lion and I thought it was so adorable with his beautiful red hair.

Lollipop Lollipop Oh Lolly Lolly Lolly...

My session with Josh and Abby was SO SWEET!!!! The two little ones were so good and were so easy to shoot. When things started to get a little rocky, I pulled out my secret weapon, two big colorful lollipops.

I love how the photos of Josh and Abby epitomize childhood and summertime. You can really see the wonderment and enjoyment on their faces as they cherish each taste of their suger snack.
