Katie's mom (Erin) and I go way back. We were in each other's weddings, we attended Lamaze classes together, we had our babies one week apart (at the same hospital) and now I am honored to take photos of my good friend's little girl.
I still remember driving around Waco with Erin when we were 16, listening to the Bangles "Manic Monday", we were so carefree, boy- life certainly has changed. Now we talk about eating schedules, nap schedules and our current adventure as new moms.
Katie was so good during her session. Her eyes definitely sparkle and have a lot of depth. She took some beautiful close ups. She is just as special as her mom (I hope she knows that one day).
OK- Now that I have that cheesy 80's song in your head take a look at the OH SO LOVELY Alex.
I actually had a hard time narrowing down her photos, so I had to just post all 5, including a repeat of the colored photo in my header.
This little girl is a KNOCK OUT. She is definitely going to be a heart breaker.
She was on the run, but I finally got her to settle down on a bench and then we had to enjoy the beautiful pond nearby. She was so upset to leave the pond, that is when she started to cry- I didn't get any pics of that though.
Josh is such a little cutie pie. His smile is so big that you can barely see his eyes. He was so happy and content, a dream session for a photographer.
He just looks like such a little man to me. I had a fun time shooting him, and his mom brought some GREAT, creative props and had some wonderful ideas.
I am thinking she must be a UT fan- hmmmmmm- what do you think????
Adorable, ENERGETIC Kaitlyn. These toddlers make me realize the work I have cut out for me soon with my 8 month old.
I have known Kaitlyn's mom Jaime for quite some time, we went to high school together. Jaime has always been full of energy, this trait was passed down to Kaitlyn. Yes, I had to chase her, but she was so adorable with her bouncy pigtails and funny faces, so we had a fun time.
It is so crazy to see some of my friends with kiddos. It makes me realize that we are grown up (I still feel like a kid).
WOW- I knew Meagan was a little beauty when I met her, but her eyes really jumped out at me in pictures. She wins the award of the most beautiful outside eyes I have ever photographed (well- besides my little girl). I also LOVE the red hair, such a great combination.
She was a little explorer. Picking up the leaves and playing in the grass. I do not think she ever noticed my camera.
I had the privilege of shooting some pics of Thomas and his mom Jaime on Tuesday.
Poor little Thomas, he did not like the click of my camera, but it turned out fine. We took a little break and then Jaime pulled out some bubbles and we were back in business.
I got some great shots of him enjoying the sites. He really was a little cutie!!!!!
