In January, I gave away a free session to announce my new website. This is the family that won. I was so pleased to have the opportunity to work with this family and hear about their touching adoption journey. They truly deserved the free session. These kiddos were so loving and affectionate. I received a hug from each one at some point during the session. I was a complete stranger, and they each let me hold them and they played with me so openly. I loved it!!!! They each pulled at my heartstrings and I was so honored for the opportunity to capture this family for their parents.THANK YOU!!!! This is a session that I will not forget!!!!
I LOVE maternity sessions!!!! I was MORE THAN happy to take these photos of our friends' Zoe and Steven and to commemorate their little baby boy on the way. Their home is so gorgeous and we were able to take some beautiful belly shots with some natural, window light.Zoe was beaming during her session and enjoyed showing off her baby bump. I cannot wait for the arrival of their little boy too. Enjoy your SNEAK PEAK!!!!
This is the second time I have taken photos of Thomas. The first time he cried because he didn't like the click of my camera, but this time he was all smiles. His facial expressions were so mischevious and goofy. He was making me laugh while I was taking his photo and I was still laughing later while I was working on his photos. What a cutie!!!!

Spring has DEFINITELY sprung and the Arboretum was a gorgeous spot for my first picture playdate this year. I was so thrilled to see little Joshua again and couldn't believe how much he has grown since last year. He was in a VERY serious mood since his session was during his naptime, but Joshua hung in there and ran all around in the grass and managed to stop for a minute or two for some quick shots before he took off again.
I loved my session with sweet little Emily. She was so content- no crying, no frowns, just happy smiles for Mom and Dad. Her blue eyes were a beautiful contrast to the gorgeous flowers at the Arboretum.
I think my favorite is #5. What is everyone laughing at??? That would be ME, acting like a complete idiot to get a smile.
Gunnar has arrived and he was bright eyed for his newborn session. He was so happy and content and I am sure he was wondering why there was a camera in his face for almost three hours. Gunnar was so good and hardly cried, but we could not get him to sleep. So we concentrated on getting some some of his handsome little face.
